Caught G.I Joe today. Hahaha for the first half hour or so, I almost fell asleep because i had no idea what was going on -_-"' They were fighting and fighting and I couldn't figure out who were the bad guys and who were not. ROFL. But after i managed to figure things out, the show didn't turn out all too bad :) Just that while they were fighting, I wasn't quite sure who was losing because it was just a mass of collisions and blasts to me. But the story line is pretty good overall ^-^

After the show we walked around and guess what we saw!! TADA~~ The whole basket of HelloKitty items! There is HELLOKITTY POCKY!!! I want!!!

Wahahaha Up is a great show!! I thought it would be a simple comedy but i was wrong! Touching themes lie within this cartoon! ^-^

Even some people who weren't Pixar movie fans converted after this show! Someone *ahem ahem* who didn't even watch Finding Nemo loved this show soo much and didn't mind watching it again!! ^-^ Even people who didn't want to watch it initially changed their minds after hearing reviews!

It all started with "You don't talk much! I like you!"

ROFL!! And it led to such undying and touching love :)

A 'brainless' show it might be..but it's still AWESOME! Thumbs UP!!! (Oh gosh am i picking up the lameness by playing with the word 'Up'?! -_-"') Hahaha i wonder how many balloons i'll need to fly away?!

-Birthday Bash-

Just came back from my Aunt's 70th Birthday Bash. Yes! 70th!! Wahahaha! It was a surprise party thrown for her and she was in total shock and dismay when she entered though the doors to see the crowd staring back at her. I think there were at least 100 people present?! It was just like a wedding dinner..all the photos flashed out on the screen, the ultimate speed (-_-) they served each dish.. Oh not forgetting their favourite..the KARAOKE. EVERY SINGLE dinner they organized, there is ALWAYS the KARAOKE. WHY?! Because they simply love standing on the stage and singing.

I didn't take any pictures because i carried a teeny weeny handbag and my phone battery only had 2 bars. HAHAHAHAA! But it was pretty touching to see how her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren looked up to her. It is a big but closely knit family :)

Nono.. i haven't gotten to the main issue. This very grand birthday bash was held at the Singapore Yacht Club and yes, Mountain Tortoise me entered it for the very first time in my life and was simply awestruck. People actually owned yacht in Singapore! Hahaha and people whom i know! My cousins actually own a yacht! Their own! And i only knew it TODAY! Haha one of them gave me a tour around the place but i didn't get to go onboard because it was close to midnight already. It was like WOW o.O

HEH In case you are thinking how come there is such a vast difference between my cousins and i, i have to stress that this group of cousins whom i am referring to have kids who are even older than me. Yes, some of my my nieces and nephews are so much older than i am. Some are even married!!

In any case, i think everyone present was pretty impressed and touched by the tight family bonds. 4 generations under one roof. Not a very easy feat. They even travel together! Heehee but what i'm really shocked about is knowing my Aunt is 70. She's so bubbly all the time and super active! Never did i imagine she was 70!! HAHAHAHA she's fantastic! A great role model! I hope i can face up to everything with a smile just like her ^-^

-Alcoholic Pearls-

Hahaha as i was uploading the photos, the pictures we took on the day ML and i were staggering along Orchard Road brought a smile to my face.

Memories of the 2 of us doubled over with laughter that ML commented "people must have thought we were practicing how to bow properly like the Japanese". ROFL. It was terrible. I sincerely hope no one we knew recognized us that night while we were struggling to walk in a straight line...that is other than fen, sm and yy who decided to ignore us while we were such utter disgrace -_-"'

The both of us concluded that the alcoholic pearls were the cause of our deliriousness because only the 2 of us consumed them and in such excessive quantity. ROFL. Fortunately, we were Happy Drunks! But it was bad in the sense that we could not snap out of it even in the toilets, where excessive inhalation of the air in the toilet is seriously not advised. Still, we couldn't stop. Come to think of it, what a sight we must have been!! GOSH -_-"'

Hahaha she even wanted me to accompany her home!! But obviously i couldn't so we continued Part 2 of our nonsense online when we returned to our respective homes. HAHAHAHA an idea of our state of mind at that point of time...

Me: Missed me?!

Ml: Haha yea of course!!

And we were separated for only an hour or less. Muahahaha!

WHOOTS~ Just like i was the first person to hug her when she returned, i was also the very first to wish her HAPPY BIRTHDAY on 07082009 at 00:00. WAHAHAHAHA. Reason was simple, because i was on the phone with her since 10+pm on 06082009. ROFL.

And because of that, i also found out a certain someone messaged her 14minutes before the clock struck 12 hoping that she would be the first to send her wishes. ROFL.

Whoohoo~ Wen-chan! The recipient of ALOT of my whines and pouts and grumbling. Recently, i was whining to her over the phone and she said, "You don't [please insert whining sound..haha i don't know how to spell it..] me, it's your own fault this time" =(

Because she's such a great friend, she listens to my most roundabout thoughts which she finds it so stupid but she still listens and ticks me off from time to time. HAHAHAH!

God does wonders, doesn't He?! He allowed Wen and I to meet under somewhat forced circumstances...Hahaha and the 2 of us are so different and yet so similar. Even our personalities are extremely different. While she prefers to talk things out, i would choose to avoid awkward situations. While she is confident of herself, i am too self-conscious. Even our choices of songs are different! HAHAHAHA but of course there are some songs that we absolutely lovee...hahah and up till this very day, i don't recall ever watching a single movie with her because our choices of movies are so vastly different. Yet it's amazing how much we can yak with each other.

In the end, i still tended in my application form to run for another round of elections for the new committee.

After all the concerns i raised to Luigi that day justifying my resignation, my decision was swayed by the simple sentence, "We would love to see you back with us."

Alas, as humans, we all need some form of reassurance of how important and accepted we are.

I hope i didn't make the wrong move just because of that sentence. Haha, so we shall see. Time will tell :)
