Today should have been an activity-packed day BUT plans have been cancelled because i'm not well enough to leave the house. *grumbles* RAHS. Being a socially responsible citizen, *ahem*, here i am, facing a computer screen on a Saturday. ROARS! Was supposed to meet GH in the morning, the darling girls in the afternoon and Twinnie in the evening and camping over at Grandma's with cousins at night. But ALL plans have been cancelled -.- and i'm not very happy about it.

Okie just some little updates!
Tutorials have started for certain modules this week and the first tutorial i attended was for IT which i obviously had to attend on my own because CL got the class that was just before mine. Being terribly anti-social that day (classes started at 8am that morning -_-), i decided to plop myself right at the front (because most people were congregrated at the back). Haha after a while, i felt it was a bad move because it was a module that needed to form project groups!! Moreover, i already saw people staring at me when i decided to plonk myself on the chair nearest to the door as though i was eager to make the quickest exit, which was probably also true too. ROFL.Anyhow, my loneliness didn't last for long. A guy decided to sit right next to me although i was sitting at the very first row of the whole class and said to me what i thought then to be the worst line he could say. "Hey! You look extremely familiar! Where have i seen you before?"
-_-"'
As it turns out, he was from the same JC, from the same batch, in the same faculty and was just a few rows to the left of my class when we used to line up for our morning assembly during that 2 years of JC.
So he decided to introduce himself in a rather formal manner, shaking my hand and saying "Please to meet you" and went on about something which i didn't quite catch. Me, being overwhelmed by everything, didn't say much but smile and nod. Hahaha, then at the end of his...erm...self introduction (??), he asked "Hey so what is your name? Ok wait, let me guess...is it Cherry?"
-_-"'
I was flabbergasted. I mean, CHERRY?!?! Wahahahah!
But he was one sociable chap. Let's just put it this way...there wasn't any awkward silences between us because there was no silence to begin with. ROFL. Naturally, we became group members because he said "Since we have each other, we better not break up." or something along that line. Yea, the choice of words was rather.. hahaha...strange. Hahaha you see, we needed a group of 3, and most groups had pairs, and obviously every pair was unwilling to "break up" to join another pair. Hence, his statement. To think he was a literature student before though. Chuckles.
Ooh the picture below was taken a couple of nights ago while on the swing..didn't quite capture what i wanted to be captured but the result turned out to be like a canvas painting! I think it looks really pretty. Whahaha and i actually dreamt about stars last night! I dreamt that i was walking home and the whole sky was filled with twinkling stars! ROFL! Maybe the medication is causing me so much drowsiness that i begin to see stars.

This was my expression caught on camera, methinks, when Lix suddenly asked me that startling question. How come the other interview pictures are so nice but mine is so candid!?!
HAHAHA. After the interview, an extremely interesting conversation followed which there were many shocking discoveries and realisations of people's misunderstandings and ability to jump to conclusions. OH MY GOSH. It was the shock of my life. I think i must have been squealing too loudly while we were walking towards the station when the revelations were made. Yikes! Let's just keep it within the 3 of us, yea?! Wheehee^-^
With bloated tummies, we parted and i had to rush down to Chinatown to meet Twinnie for a shopping session for our Chinese New Year clothes. However, as recent meet ups have turned out to be, we spent all our time talking that we didn't find anything to buy. We even got chased out by a shopowner for chatting in her shop!

Our super nice desserts! Didn't manage to get the picture of the "free" cake though. WHAHAHAHA! Obviously the cake wasn't complimentary but this is a private joke which never fails to crack me up! ROFL!
