-Laughter-

The weekend has been relatively relaxing because i decided to give myself a break and have not been studying or doing much constructive work. Hahah i pamper myself quite alot! The past weeks have been such a terrible rush of meeting papers' deadlines and studying for tests, preparing for consultation, and trying to keep up with the tutorials and lectures. I can't say i have been successful in keeping up with tutorials and lectures but at least, i've completed the papers that i had to do, the proposals and what not.

I'll continue to push on! And so must all of you! Most people in school are looking more and more shagged. Or is it just my imagination because i'm feeling so shagged?? ROFL. But the exams are fast approaching and project deadlines are coming down on us. Not to mention there's a pressing assignment deadline staring right at my face and i don't know where and how to start "'(-_-)

Aww.. it seems work is never-ending!! Hahah but still, we find joy in the process of doing (some) things :)

Today, i reckon, was the first Monday this sem that Myr and I did not head to our usual hideout. We have a project due next Monday and we're only halfway through it. So off to AS7 after lunch but the lab was full!!! So we trudged off to Central Lib to use the computers.

MY GOSH. I think the people around us were so fed up with us! The laughter from us!!! RAHAHA. We were doing some research and through some funny link, we managed to tickle ourselves silly with the oh-so-amusing-and-hilarious pictures. I forgot to mention, the 2 of us were squashed together on 1 chair. It was pretty uncomfortable seated this way because of the chair's arm rests. And while we laughed, we tended to rock to and fro and she kept hitting me by her rocking!! Moreover, i laughed so hard that my back hurt like anything. I had to scramble out of the chair and continue laughing, squatting next to the chair. And what else could have happened?! My gosh, i saw アンヂさん (-_-) I was noticed too! Because i was greeted by a wave. Faints. And what an unglam (and not to mention, unsightly) position i was in!!! ROARS!! Having not met an old friend for so long...and to be caught in such a situation...hahaha...i didn't know where to hide my face.

And he sat directly behind Myr and I.

Hahaha, in such tense periods in our lives, some things can make us laugh so much. I suddenly remembered Myr BOUNCING on our LT chair last week. She was edging herself nearer and nearer to me through BOUNCING. Just to annoy someone who was irritating her with her rather pointless singing (or should i call it chanting??). HAHAHA. But tt girl was really weird... ^-^ She seemed oblivious of Myr's attempt to annoy her back.

And i met ZT today! Oh my gosh! After 1 whole sem i met her again! I missed her so! But my broken Mandarin made it quite hard for me to converse fluently with her in full Mandarin. So i was mixing English in my sentences :( And she was doing the same. Hahaha. She was trying hard to accomodate me, i could tell. Hahaha, but in the past, it was much worse, i recall during first 3 months, Ma PY could not stop laughing at me because of my horrendous self introduction during Chinese lesson. Up till this very day, she continues to mock me...HAHAHA! But hey! My fluency in the language has improved considerably! Ask the exco! Ma PY!! I should speak to you in Mandarin soon!!! RAH!! My Mandarin isn't all that bad!! How would i be able to secure a distinction at A Levels?! (Hahaha this has always been a trump card ;D )

Okie, enough of all my silly nonsense. Back to typing reports!!

Service was great today! In the Christian calender, Easter is the most important date other than Christmas! Both of which i thoroughly enjoy! :) Behind the easter eggs, the decorations, and the presents, lies such a beautiful message.

Saw Auntie Mary-Jane in church today. She's such a dear. I missed her so! Enjoyed Bible class with her. Saw Anne too, but she sat a few pews in front of me.

So did you all feast on Easter Eggs? Hahaha i did! They used to give out Easter eggs in my church but now we have to buy them! Haha! But all's for charity!! :)

Hope everyone's recharged after the holiday! Hahah i didn't do much this long weekend. The medicine knocks me out and i've been sleeping so much. God probably allowed me to fall sick so that i can get ample rest for the examinations and deadlines ahead. Very timely! I think those long nights have taken a toll on me. I felt so terrible since last Wednesday. I actually had to miss my Mid-term test. Oh my gosh. In my entire education in NUS, that was the first time i had to skip a test owing to illness. Actually, it was the first time i skipped a paper in uni, methinks. But thank God, there's going to be a make up. I was worrying that there wouldn't be.

No worries, i'm on the road to recovery. Bear with my stuffy and noisy nose though, Mg, Yt and Stella! Hahaha! I'm still pretty much a leaking faecet. Oh Mg!! I keep forgetting to tell you, the brownie was terribly delicious! Hahaha i know the time lag is very great but i keep forgetting to tell you. Thank you soooo much!!! Really, truly appreciate the thought!

Okie people! Pop Vitamin Cs, eat lots of vegetables and fruits yea! I shall hit the gym as soon as i can breathe through my nose again. Whheeee! (^_-)

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY DARLING TWINNIE!!!!

We went for Myrna's birthday party on Sunday and all i can say is that she is the total opposite of me. Hahaha, she is obviously at ease with big crowds and groups while I am totally uncomfortable.

Us 7, made a video for her that took up much more time then we expected and yet the product wasn't what we wanted it to be. However, due to time constraint, we just had to make do. Hahah the video was very private and we had to lock her up in her brother's room before we dared to play it. But the mood was somewhat spoilt but the repetitive banging on the door. "'-_- In any case, this is the only part i can reveal!!

The idea was a totally a misintepretation on my part but it turned out lovely! We were discussing what surprise to do for Myrna and i was saying "mmmm..." And luigi said "MMmm...m&ms" And i, acting all smart, was elated! I said "Ohh!! I get what you mean!! Yea it's a great idea!!" But actually the idea was all my own conjecture and i had to explain to them what we had to do. RAHAHAH. Oh wells.

At the party, I met alot of Myrna's friends whom Myrna always mentions :) And i'm finally formally introduced to Myrna's brother, Lester! Hahaha, ok, maybe i should say i introduced myself to him. Oh gosh. I am feeling so embarrassed now because i went up to many of Myrna's friends and said "Hello!!! I'm Grace!! You are?" ARGH. I was probably too high at the beginning of the party. Anyway, as i was saying, i finally met Lester proper. Hahaha, twinnie tells me alot of things about her terribly sweet brother and i finally get to see him proper! Hahaha, this is excluding the time when he saw me in the house looking like total DRAB. I still remember that stupid day i was rushing into Myrna's bedroom when he was going into the toilet. AHHHH. I think he's the only guy other than my dad and Ken who has seen me in such a disastrous state =X Hahahaha! Yup! He is a terribly sweet brother i tell you! Myrna is truly, truly blessed to have such a wonderful family! :)

Myr had alot of fun that day and so did her friends! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, Twinnie! And thanks for the wonderful surprise though it totally shocked me till i was really speechless.

And i'm glad you liked the shirt and perfume. Oh goodness. I was so terrified you wouldn't like it. Just ask any of them! Hahaha!

Just now i was studying at Medicine and was heading to Soc for consultation when i suddenly saw someone very familiar! Hahaha! It was twinnie! Hahaha she was supposed to be having lessons at LT26 but she was at LT27's toilet. I was very puzzled so i asked her why she was there. And guess what she said?? "I just want to get further away to destress." Hahaa and i met her!! So we chatted a while before she went back to class. Hahahaha hope you feel slightly destressed after meeting me yea! Huggss!

Most of the time, i was just flitting about groups trying to talk and catch up as much as i can. Can you imagine if it was a big party?? I would probably just collapse before the night was over. Thank God my uni friends, exco mates and Crescent friends were able to click and hang out together. So 3 groups merged into 1. So left 3 other groups. Altogether only had 4 groups to shuttle about!! Whee!

So basically, we spent the time, chatting, eating and snapping shots. Whoa, i felt like a minicelebrity. Chuckles.

So it was cake cutting time! Dear Twinnie arranged for different representatives to speak. Of course, she started off first. Acks. TWINNIE! I was forcing my tears out to satisfy you! Hahahaha!! I knew you wanted to see me cry. Yup yup! So you see my whole face turned red from all the energy diverted to force those few drops of tears out. Hahaha but okayy, i got to admit i was really touched. The tears were an ADD-ON effect. I didn't know what i meant to you all. But then, all the same, it was my birthday...so all of you were obliged to say nice things about me yea?! Truth or untruth, i never know eh?! RAHAHAHA. Okay i better stop before i get boxed for my ungratefulness.

My eye was just itchy la. My fringe kept poking into my eyes!



WAH Cy said "Yea, all of us have alot of fun together...blah blah blah..doing all sorts of things together like ponning classes, blah blah blah..." AHAHAHAHA. OH my gosh! My parents were there?! Chuckles but it was only during the 1st 3 months that we skipped classes! I hurriedly clarified. What would my parents think!? GOSH.

After eating the cake and what not. It was time to open my BIG gift! Hahaha!! I was forced to sit at the table before opening..And boy! Was i terrified it was a Jack-in-a-box or something along that line.

I took so long to open this nicely wrapped box! Hahaha and Myr and Zx were shouting "Aiyo, you 23 years old already...24.....25.....26.............80 already la!" Hahaha people wrapped it so nicely. I wouldn't want to just rip it open! Hahah then i saw the word "Dell" on the box. So i gasped "Is it a laptop?!" Then asked me to carry on unwrapping. The i saw on the box was a LCD monitor screen! That i shouted once more "A LCD screen?!" Hahaha and i still received the same reply..so..here i go again..

Putting my hand in first to "test waters"...Hahahaha...there were lots and lots of shredded papers in it. Yea they have a paper shredder at home, you see. Chuckles.

Okay so the first thing i fished out said " I seriously wanted to bake you a cake..but i'm afraid it doesn't taste nice...(you know my baking skills) :P Yep! It was a box of cake mix! Hahaha and true her baking skills are well... let's just say there's much room for improvement. Hahaha! I've been her guinea pig for years!

So i carried on searching through the box and found a piece of paper that said "We remembered you needed a phone...It comes with a year's warranty"

Then i next found a Motorola Phone box taped up so tightly that i spent another 15min trying to open that stupid box."On it, a piece of paper was stuck. It said "HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY!! Love Ken and Elaine 7/3/2008 =) " So yea, as i mentioned, i took such a long time to open that irritating box only to find..........

*gasp*

2 packets of chrysanthemum tea. And of course! Another note! "Fuming? Cool down..Have a drink :P"

Okay..so more searching in the box and i found my N81 box!! Hahaha and i was so triumphant! But Zx asked me to check of it's really the phone! I was shocked! Mann! Yea boy! What if it was another trick! Hahaha so i checked and whee! The phone was inside! Hahahah!

I heard from Myr that at first she got a rude shock when she saw the phone box. She was at a distance you see. And she thought it was a PSP because the box looked like it and she feared that the others will kill her if i received a PSP from Elaine and Ken too. Hahaha hilarious!

I think this will be my last part for the Birthday special! Wheee! Some random shots!~

Janny jan jan! Apple No.1! Hahaha my secondary school friends all stayed back after the party and we had a nice good talk until the security guard chased us out. They were so sweet! They knew i had to entertain so many people and didn't demand any of my time during the party! But they bothered to stay back and had a really, really good talk that i actually sat throughout the whole thing feeling totally relaxed. Love them all! I reached home on the 8th of March. Hahaha.

これは、昨日のパート２！！たくさん写真はあるよ！＾－＾楽しかった！でも、くたくたに疲れちゃった！！みんなは、なんと思う？！

For the benefit of the majority, i will just complete my entry generally in English. HAHAHA. Here's part2 of 7th March events! There might be a Part3 considering the amount of things i want to say and the total lack of time.

It was generally successful, considering the fact that i feel uncomfortable being the centre of attraction. Hence, part of my decision to keep things small. Thank God, my prayers were answered :)

Ml came 1 hr later and Zx & Myr came half an hour after ML. All to help me with preparations and simply spending time with me :) Thank you dearest all! Hahaha if not i probably would have gone mad talking to myself!


Where should i start? Erm, jumbled thoughts are running through my head. Chuckles.


Okay anyway, i had a simple theme for a simple party for a simple girl like me! RAINBOW!! Since everyone knows i absolutely adore colours! WHoots! The picture below is supposed to represent all of us in the colours of the rainbow!!

Anyway, as i have said before. I invited close friends whom i hardly get to meet!! And yess exco included as we don't get to meet as often as last year. But that doesn't mean that our friendship is anyway undermined! NEXT WEEK FOR ANOTHER ROUND! This time i will get to eat! Wheehee!

Anyway, Yups, these are my first 3 months friends with the exception of Sam. But all of us other than Ys, got out of that terrifying school and left for safer pastures where i met so many great friends! And sam was my great class chairwoman during the good ol' (proper) JC days. Thanks Ys for coming! I haven't met you for eons!! In fact, i haven't met them for a long long while though Py, Sam and I are all in the same uni, in the same fac. How star crossed. CHuckles. In any case,i haven't met them since last year?! One family unbroken,We join in one acclaim;One heart, one voice uplifting, To glorify Thy name.

Ooh, these are my close uni friends whom i hardly get to see anymore!! How i miss those days where we stay back after tutorials to gossip and swoon and laugh. Oh my gosh. I can't believe i have a reputation of being 社長！Karen as 課長 and ying as the 部長! Haha did i get it right?! Oh mann! Don't tell me the WHOLE jap community knows ok! Even Alvin is haunting me with those OKD talks. Rahahaha..anw, Okay i still see Lx occassionally but we hardly get the chance to talk because she sits with her own friends and i sit with mine!!

How will my secondary school life be without all these great friends whom we stood by each other so closely even after we have left the school!!!! May Crescent remain in our hearts...Pity Debs wasn't with us though! I reckon i haven't met Jiaz and Wush for more than 2 years?! Mmm i saw Rachiee last year, i believe. Ahh but all these years aren't important! Because even though we don't meet often, whenever we finally meet up again, the years are just erased and we ease back quickly into conversation as though we have never ever seperated. This is what true friendship is! Overcoming all time barriers and obstacles!! I love them all! Btw, Jiaz, the one on the extreme left was Crescent's 校花 during our time! Still looking so pretty! And she's not just looks! She is superbly brainy! And most importantly, she has a beautiful heart :) I missed her so!

So our missing Fen went down to NUS just to make this beautiful card for me! *touched* From the favourite 7! Hahaha! And pretty pretty tinkerbell and RAINBOW!! My favourites!! Oh Peter Pan, wherefore thou art thy PeterPan! Hahaha! Our Pres presenting the card to me! :D And the video is hilarious! I shall upload it when i can! IF i can! Wahahaha! Fen! The day have started off great so far!! 楽しい！！:D And not to mention, the tear ducts have been exceptionally active today. ー＿－

I've embarked on a little treasure hunt this morning at around 1230am in my own home to search for presents! Hahaha, little notes painstakingly stuck around the house (high and low) by my little sister with clues on it to search for the next piece of paper/clue! And my parents were doing their best to distract me away from my sister from doing the tasks. Well, it was a success!! I was totally clueless until i went to my cupboard and saw a piece of paper at my door. Hahahahaa, it was terribly hilarious but fun! I laughed till tears streamed down my face.

Mummy dearest gave me a priceless present that started from December last year that gave me soo much confidence!!

And i received an SMS from an Aussie number and i thought it was Joan! So i replied saying"joan..blah blah blah...love you lots..blah blah blah..miss you...blah blah.." And guess what. When the reply came back, it was "Hello?! This is your cousin ok". Hahahaha much loves Cindy! Thank you soo soo much!!! I miss you and love you too!! Hahahaha! What a blunder :X But the message is still the same! I meant to tell you the same things anyway. Wheehee!

Wheee!! And all those smses that have been flooding in since 12am. Hahaha i had to clear my inbox for incoming messages. Hahaha and even my primary school friends remembered me! Oh my gosh! So touching!! Thank you so much all you darlinggss! :D Truly truly truly thankful for everything ^-^ 本当に感謝しているよ！

And before i get strangled/hate/misunderstood or what not, i have to make something clear!! *-* If i didn't invite you to tonight's small gathering, it's not because i don't love/treasure you or what not k!! HONEST! It's just that the party tonight is for close friends whom i hardly see and i want to catch up with. With the exception of Myr, all the rest invited are people whom i haven't met for a long while and hope to use this opportunity to catch up. And serious! This is due to budget constraint. Please do forgive me if i hurt any of you!! I really, truly, honestly, do NOT mean to hurt any single one of you!! If money wasn't an issue, i would honestly invite all of you :( ごめん！！！Please do understand!! I really don'tknow what to say except to apologise.

Hello hello! Thanks for your well wishes, encouragement and ways to cheer me up! Chuckles. Fret not! For yesterday was just a momentary passing phase! :) While the problems remain, life still has to go on!! Whoosh! I'll lift all worries up and be removed of all burdens and let events unfold according to His will.

Yesterday was just a result of stress, disappointment, shock, embarrassment, worry and basically mental and physical fatigue. Hahaha, it was an emotional rollercoaster ride!

Lack of sleep is the root of all my negative emotions (=.=) I remember our JC camp where we were rudely awakened at the crack of dawn to prepare for games...And i truly marvel at the rest of them who woke up at unearthly hours to trek up BukitTimah Hill while i (and of course Twinnie!) settled for snuggling in sleeping bags.

I presume the lack of sleep has a larger adverse effect on me as compared to other people. The reason i say that is because i have started hallucinating! RAHAHAHA! Jumping at the sight of......hiding from.....Oh my favourite past time these days must be staring at my watch while not exactly reading the time. ROFL.

(This paragraph might appear to be rather random but i assure you, i'm not losing my mind. Yet, at least ^-^)

Luigi : Thanks so much for taking time off to listen! You know, your words set me thinking and understanding my own emotions. I love your direct way of speech that sets me thinking and setting me straight! I didn't even know why i felt that way. Yes, all 7 of you are so special! I'm glad for all of you!! -huggsss-

Twinnie : What i want to say can never be put into words. You could just blame it on my lack of expression! Hahahaha, okie, just want to say thank you for being such a darling twinnie! :D All the stupid yawnings in the lab with tears in our eyes, the hushed whispers and stifled laughter in the library, our munching of food in LTs, our nonsensical SMSes and the list goes on. WHEEE!!
