How have your Chinese New Year celebrations been so far?? Good, i hope! :)
For the very first time, my family had our reunion dinner at a restaurant! Hahahah! Food was simple but terribly overpriced :X But at least we escaped the cleaning up section!
1st day of CNY - Visitations
2nd day of CNY - More visitations & River HongBao at night!
3rd day of CNY - Bumming around, church & CJ7!! (It's a great show!!)
2nd day of CNY was more eventful. Met up with my maternal side's cousins and Cindy who recently returned from Aussie! 1st year, methinks, without her shopping for new year clothes with me. No wonder this year i took such a long time to complete my purchases.
Anyway, we - the kids, were supposed to catch the midnight show of CJ7 but all tickets were fully sold out, leaving only the 1st row. Next available show was at 120am+. So in the end, the movie plans were cancelled. But after visiting my aunt (paternal side), my family went to River HongBao where we managed to catch the 5min fireworks display just in time!! WHEEE! :) Here are some shots but they don't do the fireworks justice. So halfway through, i decided to just stand there and admire it rather than try to capture them :)
At times i feel CNY is a waste of time. We go to people's houses and just sit there and eat. It's not like i talk to them. We sit in our own groups and amuse ourselves. Most of the people will just be staring at the television. Occasional questions will be targeted at me. The usual questions that i always don't see the point in answering but still obligingly do so, smiling as i answer. RAH. So sometimes when we think no one's looking, we'll just snap pictures of ourselves. And ANYONE who has taken a picture with me know how terribly fussy i am with the shots. Yups! Hahaha! So this perfecting of photos will take up a reasonably large amount of time. WHEEHEE (^-^)

Anyway, on the eve of CNY, as i was returning home from SCHOOL [yess i had classes till 4pm on the eve of CNY (-_-) ], i was fortunate enough to capture this beautiful rainbow! The sun was blazing hot and it was shining through the glass behind the seats at the bus stop during my transit, and cast upon the seat next to me was such a lovely rainbow!! Hahaha you know, the light entering a differently density blah blah.. Anyway, it was there for only a fleeting moment! So boy! Was i lucky!! Here it is! Sharing with you my beautiful shot :)
There was a smaller one on the ground too!! Yippee YAY! I was smiling to myself all those while. So going to school on the eve was not a bad thing after all! Hahahah i stop at this bus stop so many times but this was the FIRST time i witnessed this. Soo alright. It's worth it (*-*)
Last night, i dreamt of our favourite tutor OKD-sensei!! WAHAHAHA. It was sooo real!! I was having lunch in school with Daryl ( i think..this part was a bit blur...hahaha..) when sensei walked past and approached us! He smiled that terribly charming smile and chatted with us for a while. After getting his food, much to my pleasure and surprise, sensei came and sat with us!! Hahahaa, after that i was just chatting with sensei and i think Daryl somehow disappeared from the scene. WAHAHAHAHA! Hilarious i tell you!!! I remember being mesmerized by the smile and porcelein skin. Oh eyuk, read that. I sound like a pervert. HAHAHA. Anyway, it was a long long dream but that's the gist of it. Hahahah i keep wondering where Daryl went in it. He just somehow faded away. I wonder what Daryl will say when he reads this...mmm...hahaha...
OH! I received my online purchase yesterday! WHHEEEE~ The seller is so terribly sweet!! I'll definitely get more stuff from her. It's so funny but we sms and email each other though we don't know much about the other party. But we talk like we have known each other for years. Okayy, i know all sellers will generally be sweet to attract buyers but i'm easily blown away by her friendliness. She's nice :) It was such a pleasant experience buying from her! And you know what? She said to me in her sms to me last night "you're a nice buyer :)" Hahaha! Funny! That came out of nowhere! But oh wells. A new friend made! I'm happy!!
