-Gab's pre-21st celebration!-

YAY~ Yesterday we had a surprise pre-21st birthday celebration for Gabriel! Knew Gab almost exactly a year ago and over the months we knew each other better and got closer! Hahah! I hardly spoke to him during camp and only knew him as "1 out of the 2 medicine students in camp".

I think the true starting point of this glorious friendship is when Gab, Myr and I reported at the wrong place for the Simpsons movie!! Hahaha do you all remember that?! We dashed from place to place and missed the first part of the movie in the end. Well, after that day this friendship blossomed!

Hahah yesterday he had the impression that Myr and him were going to have bible study together while i was waiting at the steamboat restaurant (which i really don't recommend and will not step in there a 2nd time) in a terribly claustrophobic booth.

When they FINALLLY arrived, Gab didn't look all too surprise to see me at all! WAHAHAHA! So dinner starts!

But check out the steamboat! Sandra is a terribly small eater. She was whacked out halfway through while the rest of us were still going strong. HAHAHA! She just stirred and stirred the soups but didn't take anything. No wonder she remains so slim and pretty!

Whoo~ The cake i got for Gab! HAHA! The way we had to find means and ways to make Gab leave so that we could light the candle was hilarious! Myr and i pretended to fill up our cups while we actually went to borrow a lighter. But Myr saw the crabs that were just brought out! Then she said "How Grace?! How?!" I had no choice but to say "Yea la take la take la!" So yeap! While waiting for her to grab her precious crabs, i had to find someone with a lighter! Ended up borrowing from a waiter who smokes.

But the problem came when we had to light the candle! Gabriel was still seated at the table! So here was our little conversation went after i asked Gab to help me get some wet tissues.

Sandra: Eh i go toilet first k. (and she left to stall Gabriel's time)

Me: Ok! Quick light the candle! Quick light! Must melt the candle to stick it on the stand!

Myr: I don't know how to use the lighter!

Me: I also don't know!

Myr: How?! HOW?! Aiya never mind la, just stuff the candle into the cake! (she just stuffed the whole candle in the cake! ROFL)

And suddenly Gab came back! And said that we had to PAY for the wet tissues -__- So we were frantically thinking of ideas to make him go away like asking him to take tissues (which he later came back with TOILET ROLL.), and Sandra's excuse was the classic one! "Gabriel! Help me take more wanton! I want more wanton!!" WAHAHAHAHA! And there were sooo many wantons on the table that we couldn't finish! ^-^

So after Gab left once again, Sandra the heroine lighted the candle!!! WHEEE! Hahah sang a super soft and quiet birthday song. The first time i've ever done that! HAHA!

After our dinner, on Myr's persistence and insistence, we went for our dessert! DURIANS! See them choosing the durians?! Sandra has been totally blocked by the durian seller!
